This is an exciting first step! Get your ideas and reference material together and contact me to discuss the possibilities for your project. The clearer your vision the better. When we come to an agreement on deliverables, cost, and timeframe, an estimate will be drafted and a 50% deposit will be required to begin work. I will make the process as clear and painless as possible so you can rest assured you’re in good hands.
The first pass will take into account everything we agreed upon and will be headed towards a final version, but open to your input for further refinement. There are typically no mockups or sketches due to the nature of my work, so the first pass will be my best attempt to hit the mark. If you have a specific expectation, please be sure to provide reference material so we can be on the same page from the start.
I always do my best to ensure complete satisfaction with the final results. A number of revisions will be allowed per our initial agreement. Should further work be needed or there is a change in scope, such as a new idea or addition of a new element, there may be additional cost. I strive for an upfront policy that is mutually respectful of my time and your budget. Any additional costs will be presented to you with options first.
Upon receipt of final payment I will deliver digital masters of all the artwork. This will be in the formats and resolutions agreed upon and in a well organized package, ready for launch!

Sorry, but as a general answer, no. I have very little bandwidth to take on additional projects. Whereas producers and music artists make money from album sales and playing gigs, I only get paid when delivering final work.
Again, the answer to this would be no. I have done lots of these projects and I know they rarely pay off. Not that your project isn’t worthwhile and destined to be amazing, but if I am going to devote my resources to your vision then we must agree on a fair price that values my time and expertise.
All of my prices are based on an estimate of my hourly rate of $75. When I provide a quote on a project I am simply estimating how long it will take. Certain types of content I am well prepared for and can create within a lower budget, while other more specific goals may require more time to develop and therefore cost more. It really comes down to how bespoke you want it, versus how much free range you give me to get creative, and then finally how soon you need it.
I only take jobs that I can do my best work on. If you hire me I presume you like my work and are familiar with my style and methods. But if in the event I produce something that you really don’t like, I’ll own up to it if it’s my mistake and fix it, but in the unlikely event we can’t agree on a way forward, then we simply split ways. The deposit is non-refundable, though you are not obligated to pay the remainder if you choose to abort the project.
I offer my clients reduced rates with the agreement that Axon Genesis is credited and any monetization from advertisements, sync licenses, or other commercial use, is split 50/50 (or prorated based on overall contribution). When you hire me to make artwork, I am using my own methods and style that have taken years to develop and are part of my signature brand, just as your style is your brand. When we work together on a piece, part of the reward is cross-promoting and elevating our brands. You are always going to be center stage, but I expect my work to be credited. However, if you wish to hire my services as a silent party and own the end product and copyright with no additional licensing, then I would simply charge industry professional rates and the contract would be amended to satisfy our agreement.
It depends on the work you need, but as a rough guide most services have a typical turn-around time listed. However, actual time depends on how busy I am so you’re better off contacting me early, at least a month before you need art in hand. Keep in mind too if you are releasing an album, artwork will be needed well in advanced of the official release date. So to plan this all right you want to be thinking a couple months ahead.
To be clear, I want to make you look your absolute best! But to do that I need you tell me what you want and to be engaged in the process. While I certainly welcome the opportunity to get creative for you, if you have expectations then I need to know what they are. Clearly and at the beginning. This could be you putting together a Pinterest board or coming up with some key images that you want to reference. Anything you can point to and say “I want something like this…” is all I need.
After exploring ideas we’ll come to an agreement on the concept, I’ll then get to work on realizing that vision. But it doesn’t stop there. I will need you to be prompt in making a deposit and sending over logos and any other materials required for the job, otherwise work will not start.
I will also need your feedback on work in progress. If you don’t respond or provide clear direction, work stops. Any time lost due to waiting for your response or materials may impact the delivery timeline. If work has to be rushed in the end due to these issues then I may charge a rush fee, or the delivery date will get pushed back. This of course can all be avoided simply by planning ahead, keeping in touch, and focusing our energy on making something awesome and free of stress.
I’m always happy to take a look at your logo, branding, and imagery and provide upgraded versions. I have fixed lots of logos, photos, and poorly done art over the years. This is beyond the scope of my services and expertise. While I do create artwork for promotional purposes, how exactly you reach your audience is up to you. I cross promote all projects I am credited on, but otherwise do not get involved in advertising. My main advice is to seek media partners that will premiere or share your work to larger audiences with a specific interest.
Sorry, but payment plans are not offered. For all jobs 50% is required upfront for work to start, and the remainder before final delivery. This protects my investment of time and keeps you in control. If it happens to be a larger job the payments may be broken into multiple installments, but still the total price must be paid before the final product is handed over.
If I don’t think I can execute a great result, I will politely decline the job. You can get a sense of my style by looking through my portfolio. Genres of work I generally avoid include horror, violence, sex, or things that are offensive. It’s just not my thing. If you are looking for that type of work though, I can refer you to some great artists.
